October 1999 - Press Release Nisshinbo NSB Series of Precision CNC Press Brakes Feature Unique Deflection Compensation System Atlanta, GA Nisshinbo's wide range of NSB series CNC press brakes feature an original auto bed deflection compensation system that minimizes variation over the length of the bed angle. This results in a cleaner bend on the workpiece and a reduction in set-up and maintenance time when compared to conventional machines. Conventional press brakes rams deflect opposite of the bed, sacrificing a true, consistent bend angle. Set-up time and scrap are greater with conventional machines due to the need for die shimming and test runs. Nisshinbo's NSB series press brakes feature hydraulic compensation cylinders built into the triple-structured table. The compensation cylinders cause the bed to automatically deflect parallel with the ram, maintaining a true angle over the length of the bend. The two-axis, independently controlled ram is designed with hydraulic cylinders that allow the operator to compensate for uneven material thickness or intentionally fade the bend for varying angles along the workpiece. The four standard models provide pressing forces ranging from 55 to 248 tons. Standard bed lengths range from 47.2" - 161.4". Special sizes are available with a range of 495 - 900 tons of pressing force with bed lengths between 161.4" - 322.8". Automated CNC Control Standard on the NSB press brakes is the Nisshinbo PAL-510P, a 32-bit, multi-processing CNC control with color graphics and calculation data storage. The control features automatic bed crowning, order calculation, interference check, back gauge positioning, R-axis pullback, and blank calculation. Storage abilities include material properties and punch-and-die libraries, as well as a program memory of 2,000 steps. Additional storage is available with the optional RS-232C interface. Special Pricing Eliminates Haggling and Hidden Costs Like all Nisshinbo machines, the NSB press brakes are sold under a unique no-haggle pricing policy that extends no special deals or volume discounts. All customers pay the same price - the lowest price Nisshinbo can offer. This all-inclusive price covers the cost of shipping, rigging, installation, and on-site training. Nisshinbo serves as the single source of the complete system, providing customers large and small with the industry's most efficient and cost-effective means of purchasing fabricating technology.
