Nisshinbo Offers Compact and Powerful HTP 650 Punch Press

Atlanta, GA -  Nisshinbo's HTP 650 Hydraulic CNC Turret Punch Press features many of the attractive functions of the HTP 1000 in a compact, powerful package.  By combining the patented POWER MIZER™ Hydraulic Servo Ram and the ability to run Wilson Wheel® tooling, the HTP 650 becomes a highly efficient and adaptable machine.

POWER MIZER™ controls the speed of the ram's downward stroke and automatically selects the most efficient ram pressure from six different levels at standard speed or nine different levels with the high-speed hydraulic servo press drive.  This standard feature reduces punching and valve noise, allowing quieter operation while minimizing energy consumption.  Programmable ram speed boosts efficiency and results in longer tooling life.

The Wilson Wheel® tooling options allows the HTP-650 to perform four-axis cutting and forming.  By applying vertical wheel cutting and rolling technology to the turret press, contour shearing and form rolling at up to 2,000 ipm is achievable.  This concept presents revolutionary design and manufacturing possibilities to sheet fabricators.  The Wilson Wheel® can be seen in action by visiting the NC MEC USA, Inc. home page at http://www.ncmecusa.com.

The versatility of the HTP 650 is again demonstrated in the rear address design, which provides the ability to handle oversize sheets.  This feature gives the machine the capacity to double the sheet size of 49.6" x 25.6" (1260mm x 650mm).

Precision Engineering for Precision Results

The HTP-650 is constructed of a composite reinforced, single-piece, closed-box frame design that reduces noise and vibration and eliminates the need for a foundation.  The ram is commanded in .0004" (.01 mm) increments and may be brought to a complete stop at the BDC.  These features added to the precision-ground lead screws and guides and brushless AC servo motors furnish an accuracy of ±.004" (0.1 mm) for X / Y location.  The end result is a highly reliable, precise machine that ensures superb quality and an accurate finish.

Further standard precision features include two large 3.5", 30 rpm bi-directional auto-index stations, allowing precise (±.05°) control of the angle of punch rotation.  Turret stations, available in both thick- and thin- style, have bushings that contribute to the accuracy of the punch-to-die alignment.  The standard turret has 19 thick or thin stations.

Specifications

The HTP-650 punches metal up to .250" (6.35 mm) thick 350 times per minute with a force of 24 tons (22 metric tons).   Standard hole capacity is 3.5" (88.9 mm) diameter.  The machine handles workpieces up to 49.6" x 25.6" (1260mm x 650mm).  Simultaneous 4-axis control is offered, with standard axis speed of 1600 ipm (40m/min).  Color graphics, 3.5" diskette program storage and RS-232C data transmission are standard features of the 32-bit multi-tasking graphically programmed industrial control.

Special Pricing Eliminates Haggling and Hidden Costs

The HTP-650 Hydraulic CNC Turret Punch Press is sold under their unique no-haggle pricing policy.  This policy eliminates special deals and volume discounts, ensuring that all customers pay the lowest price Nisshinbo can offer.  This all-inclusive package includes the cost of shipping, rigging, installation, and on-site training.  Nisshinbo is the single source of a complete system, providing customers with the industry's most efficient and cost-effective means of purchasing fabricating technology.
