November 1999 - Press Release Wilson Tool International® Opens New Technology Center White Bear Lake, MN - (November 18, 1999) – Wilson Tool International®, Inc. recently had the opening of its new 15,000-square-foot Technology Center located at its headquarters in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. This custom-designed facility was opened in conjunction with the company's new European Headquarters and European Technology Center. The new technology center attracted over 280 visitors from around the world. The new Technology Center will be utilized for customer demonstrations, customer training, product presentations, and employee training. It features fully operational, state of the art punch presses from Amada®, Finn-Power®, Murata Wiedemann®, and Nisshinbo®, and press brakes from Amada®, Cincinnati®, and Nisshinbo®. In addition to demonstrations, training, and product presentations, these machines will be used to support the company's ongoing research and development efforts. The facility is equipped with the latest in audio/visual technology. Other features include a customer conference room, which provides a private area for meetings and a convenient view of the show room where the punch presses and press brakes are located. It also has video conference facilities that allow company employees to conduct video conferences with managers and employees located at other Wilson Tool facilities around the world.
