Updated! March 1999 - Press Release Nisshinbo Hydraulic CNC Turret Punch Press Cuts Noise, Extends Tooling Life HIQ-1250/22 equipped with Wilson Wheel® tooling also performs four-axis contouring Atlanta, GA By combining truly cutting edge technology with the industrys most innovative "no haggle" pricing policy, Nisshinbos HIQ-1250/22 punch press provides end users with a complete fabricating package from a single source. The heart of this CNC turret punch press is Nisshinbos patented POWER MIZER hydraulic servo ram with full position feedback. The speed of the rams downward stroke is programmable, and the most efficient ram pressure is automatically selected from a range of nine levels. Although the HIQ-1250/22 has a maximum punching force of 24 tons USA/22 tons metric, POWER MIZER ensures the lowest impact force possible per operation for quieter running, reduced energy consumption and maximum tooling life. Contour Cutting and Forming Teamed with the Wilson Wheel® family of vertical wheel cutting and rolling tooling from Wilson Tool International, the HIQ-1250/22 punch press is also capable of a host of contour cutting and forming operations. Nisshinbo pioneered the application of this revolutionary tooling to punch press equipment, permitting high speed cutting and forming of offsets, louvers, ribs or slits along any contour at speeds up to 2,000 ipm. Equipped with Wilson Wheel cutting and rolling tooling, the HIQ-1250/22 truly becomes an all-purpose fabricating machine. Specifications The HIQ-1250/22 handles workpieces of 1260 x 1250 mm (49.6" x 49.2"). Maximum material thickness is 6.35 mm (.250"). X/Y location accuracy is + 0.1 mm (.004") with auto-index of +.05°. This machine offers simultaneous 5-axis control with maximum axis speed of 70 mm/min (2,800 ipm) and a maximum production rate of 800 hits per minute. Auto-index speed is 30 rpm, bi-directional. Two large auto-index stations are standard. The standard turret has 22 stations; a 37-station turret is optional. Color graphics, 3.5" diskette program storage and RS-232C data transmission are standard features of the 32-bit multi-tasking graphically programmed industrial control. Special Pricing Eliminates Haggling and Hidden Costs Like all Nisshinbo machines, the HIQ-1250/22 is sold under a unique no-haggle pricing policy that extends no special deals or volume discounts. All customers pay the same price the lowest price Nisshinbo can offer. This all-inclusive price covers the cost of shipping, rigging, installation, and on-site training. Nisshinbo serves as the single source of a complete system, providing customers large and small with the industrys most efficient and cost-effective means of purchasing fabricating technology.
