Nisshinbo to Feature NSB 125-3100 CNC Press Brake at FABTECH '99 Atlanta, GA - Nisshinbo's FABTECH '99 display will feature the NSB 125-3100 CNC Press Brake with its new "I" axis option that cuts down on set-up time. The "I" axis is an automated method of adjusting for a lower tool centerline, which can greatly reduce set-up time even a variety of die configurations. Nisshinbo will highlight the NSB 125-3100's original deflection compensation system and triple independent structured table. These features maintain the parallel position of the ram and table, ensuring a highly accurate bend. The ram is controlled by a linear encoder that can measure 5/1000mm increments, contributing to its ±0.01mm accuracy. Specifications The NSB 125-3100 features a 7-axis electric hydraulic servo/closed loop control. Maximum pressing capacity is 138 tons (125 M tons), with a 122 inch bend length (3100mm). The machine measures 182.4 inches (4634mm) wide by 57.4 inches (1457mm) deep and stands 101.7 inches (2582mm) high, with a total weight of 10.3 tons (9.3 M tons).

Nisshinbo's unit is equipped with the new space saver layout that re-claims floor space with the laser mounted over the rear of the machine. Built with basic sheetmetal cutting in mind, it provides user-friendly options for those desiring a machine that trims cost and complexity without sacrificing quality. Despite its simplicity, versatility is not forgotten with the LCM 1250.
