Technical Features for Yawei Turret Punch Presses

Bridge Frame

A highly rigid design using "closed box" construction that 
provides long term punch and die alignment.

Hydraulic Ram

The ram's BDC (Bottom Dead Center) is programmable in 1/1000mm (.0004") increments.  The ram can also be programmed to a complete stop at BDC.  These features provide excellent control in forming operations.  The ram velocity is programmable and the most efficient ram pressure is automatically selected.  This reduces punching noise and valve switching noise, resulting in quieter operation and reduced electrical consumption.

Wheel Function

You may or may not have heard about the latest innovations in sheet metal fabricating, the Wilson Wheel™.  This tooling concept applies vertical wheel cutting and rolling technology to turret punch presses.  Now with the Yawei Hydraulic Ram Turret Punch Press machines you can also continuously contour with these tools.

Hydraulic Unit

"Power Mizer" Hydraulic Servo Ram with linear scale feed back precisely monitors the position of ram providing real-time information that maintains the accuracy of the ram.  Low impact force due to programmable ram speed, longer tool life, low noise, minimizes energy consumption.   Our system uses standard hydraulic oil, common filters and requires no after chiller.


Turrets

Consisting of high wear castings for durability and machined with extreme accuracy. 

 


Oil-Bath Lubrication of Auto-Index

The long-term accuracy of the high-precision worm gear system is guaranteed by this continuous lubrication system.  Better abrasion resistance results when compared to grease lubrication.  Worm shaft and worm wheel are submerged in oil-bath. 


Lower Die Rapid Unloading

Lower die rapid loading and unloading accurately, rapidly and conveniently.

 


Replaceable Hardened Guide Bushings

The hardened guide bushings are installed on all Yawei turret machines with high abrasion-resistance for long life.  These bushings are also easily replaceable at the first signs of wear.

Turret Drive

Using AC Brushless Servo Motor with feedback for positive station positioning chain drives coupled to "keyless coupling" for easy alignment.


Oil Mist Lubrication System

Mixing lubricating oil and compressed air to form oil mist, being automatically controlled by CNC system, lubricating ram-head and tools, prolonging their work life, preventing burrs and improving the punch-edge quality.


Movable Ram-head

Ram head positions automatically based on turret station requested.

Tool Lifter

This device allows for quick and easy loading and unloading of heavy tool assemblies (2", 3.5" and 4.5") to and from the turret.


The Centralized Lubrication Unit

Automatic lubricating of major components, prolonging component's work life.


Moving Table Design

Provides full material support during punching process.


Brush Table - Standard

Reducing the scratch between workpiece and surface of table, especially for process of thin and mild material.





Ball Support Table - Optional

Provides full support for heavier sheets.

Failure to Strip Detector

This detector monitors the punch for failure to strip from the material being punched. If a failure occurs the machines table motion will be stopped.

Work Clamps

Fully adjustable work clamps, quick change lower spikes for "grip" retention and workpiece pull-out sensors.
