Contour Cutting and Forming

Teamed with the Wilson Wheel� family of vertical wheel cutting and rolling tooling from Wilson Tool International, the HPQ Series is also capable of a host of contour cutting and forming operations. Nisshinbo pioneered the application of this revolutionary tooling to punch press equipment, permitting  high speed cutting and forming of offsets, louvers, ribs or slits along any contour at speeds up to 2,000ipm. Equipped with Wilson Wheel cutting and rolling tooling, the HPQ Series truly becomes an all-purpose fabricating machine.

Specifications

The HPQ Series is offered in various table and tonnage options. X/Y location accuracy 
is + 0.1 mm (.004") with auto-index of +.05�.  This machine offers simultaneous 5-axis control with maximum axis speed of 75 mm/min (2,900 ipm) and a maximum production rate of 1000 hits per minute. Auto-index speed is 30 rpm, bi-directional. Two large auto-index stations are standard. The standard turret has 40  stations; a 38-station turret is optional. Color graphics, 3.5" diskette program storage and data transmission are standard features of the  32-bit multi-tasking windows based Siemens 840D CNC control.
