NC Control

32 Bit Multi-processor unit handles even the most complicated calculation data which can be stored in the program, saving time when processing the same products in the future.

Calculations can be made at high speed for fine ram control.   Furthermore, the program can be checked before processing using a color graphic simulation.

Bed Compensation

When bending with conventional press brakes, the ram will deflect opposite of the bed, causing variations in the bend angle along the part.  This increases set-up time and scrap due to die shimming and the need to run additional test parts.

With the NISSHINBO NSB Series press brakes, the bed is caused to automatically deflect parallel with the ram under CNC control through the use of the Triple Structure Table incorporating hydraulic compensation cylinders.


Two Axis, independently controlled Ram

The two hydraulic cylinders (Y1 & Y2) are independently controlled and are connected to the ram by means of spherical washers.  With this technique you can compensate for varying material thickness and or fade bend allowing for varying angles along the work piece.

Triple Structure Table

The triple independent structured table (Bed), has been designed to allow for automatic crowning of the center table, by using CNC controlled hydraulic cylinders mounted on the outboard tables and pushing on the center table.  The center table and the side frames are joined through the outboard tables by spherical washers, thus allowing for a smooth curve over the entire length of the table.


Ram electrical / hydraulic closed-loop servo system

  • Servo Valves are directly mounted to the ram positioning cylinders by manifolds, minimizing the distance between the valves and cylinders while eliminating hose connections and flexing, this provides a more responsive and tighter servo network with more reliable and better positioning.
  • Ram guides are positioned closer to the bending point and are spread wider apart for better guiding and stability.
  • Ram position feedback to the bed is accomplished by the use of linear encoders (one each side for Y1 & Y2) thus allowing for independent feedback and control for each servo valve.  Each encoder can measure with an accuracy of 5/1000mm, (.0002"), thus allowing ram control of 0.01mm, (.0004").  These encoders are mechanically uncoupled from the bending frame (separate from the side frames and the main body to the machines) through the use of two independent measuring frames (one each side), thus eliminating any frame deflections during bending.
